Summary: The Community Mental Health Worker II (CMHW II) provides short term care coordination and connection to resources and support to Spanish speaking program participants. The intent is to increase client access to mental health services and to improve their general well-being. The CMHW works in community-based settings, including participant's homes. The CMHW II delivers community support services that include, but are not limited to community outreach, health advocacy, needs assessment, resource mapping and linkages, informal counseling, and community engagement event support and coordination.

Summary: The Program Manager oversees the Family Strengthening Program (FSP) and directs the planning, budgeting, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of all program services and activities. The position has eight to 12 direct reports. The Program Manager is also responsible for hiring, coaching, developing, and evaluating staff.
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the program complies with policy and service standards, monitoring the program/contract, and evaluating the delivery of services. The position requires frequent contact with other program administrators, managers, specialists, and representatives of contracted agencies and any other partner agency to coordinate program goals and priorities, resolve funding and programmatic issues, and ensure delivery of high-quality education and prevention services. The position requires experience in managing large programs as well as management experience and knowledge of the grant writing process, data analysis, budget formulation and management, strategic planning, and needs assessment formulation.

Summary: Accounting Manager / Accountant to work in a non-profit organization which derives revenue from primarily grants and sponsorships. We consider HUF the southern outpost of Ellis Island. Responsible as lead day to day independent technical and administrative accounting work and maintaining the organization’s fiscal records and systems by performing the following duties:
Overview Functions: Financial Statements preparation, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including but not limited to, bank recs, monthly journal entries, including shared/indirect cost/payroll allocations, Budget vs. Actual Analysis, Budgeting support with Program Managers and delineate AP, AR and PR functions with CFO.AP/PR Specialist to work in a non-profit organization which derives revenue from primarily grants and sponsorships. Summary: Success Coach (SC) is responsible for providing initial assessments to identify risks and protective factors as well as developing a Family Nurturing Plan with each family. The SC will facilitate training sessions, case management services, follow ups and ongoing meetings with each participant to ensure the achievement of program goals. The Success Coach will facilitate make up sessions and will work with program staff and participants to prepare Family Building Events. This is a full-time position to facilitate the Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) curriculum as well as setting meetings with participants during the week, weekends and/or evenings. The success Coach must have the ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed by contract and program. Currently services within the FSP program are virtually and some in person.

Summary:The goal of Hispanic Unity’s VITA program is to provide a top quality, 100% free tax preparation service for low to moderate income families throughout Broward County. Paramount to this effort is that the program assists clients in identifying and accessing all eligible tax credits to maximize the refunds brought back to the community. The Tax Preparer/Greeter (TP/GR) represents the first impression of the VITA program to the public. Their role is to welcome the VITA clients and set the standard for excellent customer service at the site
